Weddings are a rare opportunity to get great portraits of loved ones
while they are
all assembled in one place, possibly never to happen again.
Besides the bride and groom, there are the many family members, guests,
and children present ( usually dressed up nicely ).
My wedding
style is more journalistic than formal. Candid photographs almost always show more relaxed subjects who are just
being themselves, because many people feel awkward during formal, posed
photographs.
So, I try to get a lot of candid shots that can be made into beautiful
portraits with a little cropping and adjusting. Most
customers want at least some formals, so I do both. I always give my
customers a choice of B/W or Color or both. |

Prices:

I
decide on a price based on a number of factors, including hours of
shooting,
number of prints, album, editing and custom work, travel, etc.
For every hour of shooting, there can be 100 or more photos.

Example: A local wedding, up to 100 guests, 6 hours of
shooting
photo editing, 8 prints, 2 DVD's with photos. Around $
800 to $1,000
