Each year, thousands of perfectly healthy and loving dogs, cats,
and other wonderful animals are put to sleep, sometimes for the lamest of reasons.
Some were abused and neglected by their previous owner.   They need love too.

Have your family pet photographed at one of our local events.
I also do private in-home sittings, and I will travel to your location.

If I must travel a long distance for a large shoot I need to have at least 10 sittings set up in advance.
Visit our country studio in Millerton (Northeast Dutchess County), New York
Call for an appointment.   Some evenings and weekends are available.

To reserve a time at our large photo shoots,
we charge a $ 35 sitting fee for the first pet,
plus $ 10 for 2 or more in the same sitting.
A nice 8 by 10 print and an index print of other photos from the sitting is included .
We donate a portion of the sitting fee to the host organization.

More prints can be ordered.

Beautiful 11 by 17 print    $ 45.
8 by 10's     $ 15
5 by 7's    $ 8

Photo CD of your sitting, with all photos on it $ 30
I also can do extensive custom image work with Photoshop
using any of the photos from your shoot.

We usually take 20 to 50 photos during the session.
Family members can be in the photo too.
At large events a portion of sitting fees benefits local pet rescue organizations,
pet supply businesses, pet groomers, etc.
I guarantee results or the sitting fee is refunded.

How a large photo shoot works
Our events are lots of fun.

They typically run 6 hours or more, with a different pet every 20 minutes.
I shoot 20 to 50 photos for a great selection.
Family members can be in the photos too, if they wish.
I take 5 to 8 different poses, including a "headshot"
I usually have a pet handler working with me.
I place the pet on a table or floor, depending on its size.
I bring props, fabrics, and noisemakers.
