Once strictly a farm community, Millerton, NY, is now very arts-oriented.
This charming town of about 1,000 is located in N.E. Dutchess County
just a short drive form the Berkshires, in Massachusetts,
and only a few miles from the Northwest corner of Connecticut.
The town is located within a large region of the Hudson Valley
that is full of recreational and cultural activities.
Nearby is Great Barrington, MA, Sharon and Kent, CT,
Rhinebeck, NY, and not far away is also the famous Woodstock, NY
Millerton is about 10 miles from the Wassaic stop on Metro North train from NYC.
There's a paved "rail-trail" running 11 miles from the center of Millerton
south to the train station. It's popular with bikers and joggers.

It's very easy to get to, only 1/2 mile from Route 22.
From NYC, it's a pleasant two hour drive straight North into the country.
Our property has a stream, small pond, fruit trees, flowers,
and lots of birds, rabbits, and other wildlife.
It's a great place for outdoor portraits,
or your sitting can be done in our studio located on the property.
