have adequate information to protect their interests.

New York State Agency Disclosure Form
Buyer agency

By default, realtors in NY State represent the seller's interests.
 Buyers may arrange for a buyer's agent
by signing an agreement
with a realtor that spells out commission and duties. 

Sellers in NY State must fill out a property condition
 disclosure form or pay a $ 500 fine.    
This form helps the buyer decide whether it's worth
buying the property at the listed price.

 Lead Paint Disclosure Form

Before 1978, lead was sometimes put into paint. 
  This disclosure form
is intended to let buyers be aware of possible
lead problems in a home.
